FAQ

What is LyricRoll?
Stage lyrics and performance notes on Windows. Control it with a computer keyboard, an iKKEGOL foot pedal, any MIDI device, Helix Showcase Flags, or by following tempo. See Features.
How do I download and activate a license?
  1. Download the Windows exe from lyricroll.com/download.
  2. If Windows warns that the app is unsigned, choose More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Buy from this site. Lemon Squeezy emails a license key.
  4. In LyricRoll open Settings → License, paste the key, and Activate. You need the internet for that one step.
The same download is Free and Paid. There is no second installer.
Windows warns that the software is unsigned. Is it safe?
Yes. Code signing is an annual subscription. If the application launch is successful, we will pay for that service. Until then you may need to acknowledge that you trust us as the developer: More info → Run anyway.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. The download is a trial of the full app — editor, images, MIDI, pedal, tempo, and backing tracks. You can keep two songs so you can test changing songs on your PC. A third song file needs a paid license.
How much is it?
$9.99 one-time. That unlocks unlimited songs on two PCs.
How many computers?
A license activates on two PCs so you can have one for editing and another on stage. In Settings → License, Deactivate this PC to free a slot if you replace a machine.
Does it work offline?
After activation, yes. You do not need the internet during a gig.
Where are my songs?
Documents\LyricRoll. That folder is yours; back it up. The license file is separate, so copying the song folder does not copy the license.
Windows only?
Yes for now. If the Windows version is popular, we will make a version for iOS.
License terms?
The EULA is the agreement. Use the trial on your PC before you buy.
